I am pleased to announce that I have begun offering specialized services with special rates (yes, that means I will work with you to find a mutually acceptable rate that fits your budget, as an indie author myself, I understand the challenges!) just for independent authors and indie creatives.

As an artist, writer, and graphic designer, I have decades of diverse experiences creating, marketing and selling my own creations. Tulip Tree Creative Studios was established in 2000 to provide a wide range of freelance creative services for non-profit organizations, small businesses and independent creatives including print design, writing, and web development. It also serves as the publishing imprint of The Way of the River. Spyked Ink was subsequently established in 2016 as an offshoot to sell my own artwork and screen printed goods.

In addition to The Way of the River, a middle grade fiction novel that I have authored, designed and have created marketing materials for, I have also worked professionally as an academic publishing designer, and as a designer for other long- and short-form publications. Projects have included a full length cookbooks, a fitness and well-being journal, academic journals, directories, bulletins, newsletters, conference programs, ads and web banners. I am interested in working with authors of many genres, including middle grade and YA novels, children’s educational books, and related book types.
